Affiliate Marketing Redesigned
As a lot of you probably know, Affiliate Marketing is a performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the Publisher’s own marketing efforts. The industry has three core players – the brand, the publisher, and the customer.
A publisher is an independent individual or company that promotes brand products or services in exchange for performance-based payments.
The final component that completes the affiliate relationship triangle is the customer. The customer is the one who actually sees the efforts of publisher marketing campaigns and then makes an action (either by clicking a link or by submitting their information via a form) that takes them from the publisher’s website to the advertiser’s to complete the action, which we call a conversion – in our case, a purchase.
