Hello and welcome to the monthly CEO brief. Heficed has been growing and changing rapidly. It’s only been a month since the last time we talked and I have exciting news for you again.
Event highlights
International Telecoms Week (ITW) in Atlanta last month was a blast. Heficed took part together with more than 2000 other participants from over 135 countries worldwide. The main topics discussed in speaking areas and meeting spaces were global connectivity, future of messaging, and business communications.
After talking to different companies from all over the world we have once more admitted this to ourselves – Internet users strive for efficiency and sustainability. It is the particular direction we’re moving towards. It’s a serious commitment, although we’re glad to be a part of this.
Joining i2Coalition
One more thing I’d like to share with you is the fact we’ve joined the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition). In order to “keep the Internet open as an engine for growth and innovation” which they state as their mission, i2Coalition unites different companies working in the Internet infrastructure field.
We at Heficed believe it aligns perfectly with one of our company mission – Internet development and sustainability.
Moreover, working with like-minded companies helps spread the message, indicate and eventually eliminate the pain points. Can you imagine how much time do we spend on the internet on daily basis? We’re almost constantly online. Internet is basically the environment we live in. Therefore, we believe it‘s extremely crucial to keep it clean, efficient and sustainable.
Reusable internet resources
To keep our environment sustainable, reusable internet resources are crucial. I’d like to bring your attention to IPv4 shortage and increasing IP address prices. We at Heficed believe IP address resources can and have to be reusable internet resources as well. In an environment of LIR2LIR, IP owners can add IP addresses to Heficed platform and our customers monetize those IP addresses for them.
