The international hosting provider Host1Plus moves to a new data center in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new facility is expected to support the growing demand from local and global clients that rely on data center location and interconnection in Europe. By moving to a new data center in the region, the company is hoping further to facilitate innovation and collaboration for developer teams and SMBs.
Located in the heart of Europe, a new data center in Frankfurt provide sustained data exchange all over Europe and beyond. Nine autonomously operated but interconnected data centers have access to 400 carriers and DE-CIX internet exchange, a full range of AC and DC power products, N+1 generators, and 24/7 monitoring.
The new location is equipped with the latest hardware and fastest network architecture:
- Industry-leading Intel® Xeon® processor E5 v3 family to deliver record-breaking performance and reliability;
- Dual 10Gbps uplinks to the world, thus eliminating any risk of downtime or single-point failures;
- DDR4 Error Correcting-Code RAM.
In October 2015, the company announced the outset of hardware improvement in all locations, starting with the data center in Chicago, Illinois. After Frankfurt, Germany is the second location after Chicago that underwent hardware updates and location standardization.
VPS hosting clients from Europe and nearby regions are expected to benefit from greater connectivity, reduced latency, increased reachability levels, and the latest processing units. Aistis Zenkevičius, the CTO at Host1Plus, claims that “New Frankfurt data center is a great choice for Europe and it’s nearby regions oriented workloads and reachability. Customers will benefit from nine data centers interconnectivity, making sure that your data is always safe and available.”
The new data center in Frankfurt, Germany, will be among the first to support Host1Plus Cloud Serversßeta hosting services that will be launched on September 5th, 2016.
