How to set abuse contact in APNIC?

If you would want to list your subnet on our IP Address Market you need to set an abuse contact in APNIC to your IP subnet.

This is one of the requirements in order to list your subnets on the IP Address Market.

STEP 1. Login to APNIC portal https://login.apnic.net/

STEP 2. Navigate to “Resources” then “Whois Updated” on the right side.

STEP 3. Click on “Update” tab and select inetnum in the Object type droplist.

STEP 4. Search for the IP range that you wish to set abuse contact. For example: 103.141.68.0 – 103.141.68.255

Note: If you are changing the abuse contact information for the “specific subnet”, don’t forget to check the sub-assignments

STEP 5. Edit the mnt-irt field to IRT-DIGITAL-AP.

STEP 6. Click the Update button at the bottom.

STEP 7. If you are getting notification that it’s not possible to assign IRT object IRT-DIGITAL-AP then please create a new IRT object with the email address abuse@heficed.com and assign it in the mnt-irt attribute.

Those 7 steps will allow you to set abuse contact in APNIC.
