How to remove Heficed credentials from IP in RIPE (IP Owner)

The procedure to fully remove Heficed credentials from RIPE

Open https://my.ripe.net/ and login to your account and continue with the procedure.

How to Remove/Change Abuse-C

STEP 1. Navigate to “Resources” then “My resources” on the left menu.

STEP 2. Select the subnet for which you want to remove or change an abuse contact information.

NOTE! If you are changing the abuse contact information for the "specific subnet", don't forget to check the sub-assignments


STEP 3. Click on the “Update object” button

STEP 4. Find abuse-c section and change or remove – HA4233-RIPE

STEP 5. Once you have removed or changed abuse-c hit submit button.

How to Remove ROA, Route Object (IRR)

STEP 1. Navigate to “Resources” then „Resources – RPKI Dashboard“ on the left menu.

STEP 2. Press “Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs)”

STEP 3. Find ROA AS61317 with your subnet and press remove.

STEP 4. Navigate to “RIPE Database” then “Full Text Search” on the left menu.

STEP 5. Search for AS61317 and select Route.

IMPORTANT! If you cannot find any Route with AS61317 you can skip these steps

STEP 6. Select the subnet. Press “Update object”. Press “Delete this object”

How to Remove the nameserver

STEP 1. Navigate to “RIPE Database” then “Full Text Search” on the left menu.

STEP 2. Search for ns8.heficed.com or ns9.heficed.com and open the results

STEP 3. Scroll down and press delete the object

Congratulations, you have successfully removed all Heficed credentials.
