Do You Provide DDoS Protection?

Heficed does not offer DDoS protection as a service; however, there is an advanced firewall layer for Cloud Hosting services to filter bad traffic. When a massive attack creates a threat on the host nodes, DDoS is mitigated by blackholing the targeted IP address.

As a result of a DDoS attack to the server’s IP address, it will be temporarily null routed in the Heficed core routers to keep the network stable. The null route is automatically removed when attacks end, depending on the type of attack.

A notification about a DDoS-related incident is automatically sent to the email address that is linked to your Heficed account.
