Manual Approval Process for BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP)

You can bring your own IP addresses to our infrastructure and use them with Bare Metal and Cloud Hosting servers. Follow the steps to learn how to do it.

1. Go to Terminal > Additional IPs > IPAM and click BYOIP at the top.

BYOIP button highlighted in Heficed's IPAM menu.

2. Select Route Origin Authorization or Manual Approval at Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) window.

ROA and Manual Approval options presented via Heficed's BYOIP menu.

If you choose ROA, the system will check Route Origin Authorisation of your IP range. ROA should be created beforehand for our ASN 61317.

If you choose MA, the system will send you an email to your abuse-c email. Make sure that your abuse contact is valid because you will need to verify the BYOIP process manually.

NOTE: If you have multiple abuse contacts set, you will receive a letter to each of them; however, only one must be approved.

3. After validating your IP addresses, click Confirm.

You will now be able to see your subnet in Terminal > Additional IPs > IPAM.

BYOIPs listed in Heficed's IPAM menu.
