What Is API?

API stands for Application Programming Interface. API uses a particular set of rules and specifications that enable the ability to manage, access and control 3rd party infrastructures. In other words, this interface has clearly defined methods of communication between various software components.

Companies release their APIs to the public because they enable customers to build scalable and big projects in the most appropriate programming language.

The Heficed API allows you to manage our services and resources using the most popular programming languages (PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, C, C#, Javascript, etc.). The functionality that is available via the Heficed Terminal is also available via the API, which enables you to write scripts for complex actions that your situation may require.

More in-depth information on how to utilize the Heficed API for different services can be found in our official documentation.
